I run Even Odds, and I’m the person who builds your flow. You deal with me from the first call to the handover, and I’m the one who looks after it once it’s live.
Most trades and field-service firms already pay for good software. ServiceM8, Fergus or Simpro runs the jobs. Xero runs the money. The trouble is the gap between them. Someone in the office retypes the enquiry into the job system, chases the quote, keys the invoice into Xero and builds the Monday report by hand.
That gap is what I fix. I connect the tools you already have, so the work moves on its own and your team only steps in to check and approve.
What we do

Enquiry to Quote
Enquiries from your web form, email, text and Facebook land in your job system with the details filled in, and a draft quote waits for you to approve.
Get Paid
Quotes get followed up, finished jobs become Xero invoices without retyping, and overdue invoices get reminders until they’re paid.
Owner Dashboard
One weekly view from your job system and Xero: job profit, quote win rate, who owes what, and how busy each tech is.
The main lane is trades and field-service firms of about 6 to 50 staff running ServiceM8, Fergus or Simpro with Xero. Plumbers, electricians, builders, HVAC, roofers, landscapers, cleaning and maintenance companies.
The second lane is product businesses (wholesale, distribution, light manufacturing) on Cin7 or Unleashed with Xero, and often Shopify.
How we work
In your own accounts
We build in your job system, your Xero and your own Make, n8n or Zapier. Nothing runs on a platform you don’t control.
No markup on tools
You pay tool and AI bills directly to the provider, at cost. We don’t add a margin.
Everything handed over
You get the credentials and a plain-English runbook, so you’re never locked out if we’re unavailable.
A deadline guarantee
Your flow is live within 14 days of kickoff, or half the sprint fee comes back. Fixed price, agreed in writing first. Terms.
Automation first
Most of a flow is plain automation. AI only comes in where the input is messy, like reading a free-text enquiry or drafting a reply.
You approve what customers see
Quotes, replies and reminders go to you as drafts first. Nothing customer-facing goes out without the owner’s say-so. Where your data goes.
What we won’t do
- Sell you an AI receptionist or a website chatbot. We connect the tools you have instead.
- Sell training or strategy decks. You get a working flow, not a slide pack.
- Sell you a build you don’t need. If your software already does it, or a change of habit fixes it, we’ll say so.
- Resell software or take commissions. Tools are picked for your business, not for a margin.
- Bill by the hour. Every build has a fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts.
- Invent results. You won’t find made-up case studies or testimonials here. Examples are illustrative and say so.
Who it’s not for
Sole traders and teams under about five usually don’t have enough repeated work for a build to pay off. Firms on Tradify alone are limited, because Tradify has no public API.
